Booking Terms & Conditions
Effective from 01/03/2025
1. Introduction
These terms apply when you book accommodation with Jacob & Sons Accommodation Ltd in the UK. By booking, you agree to these terms. We may update them, so check before booking.
2. Who Can Book?
• You must be at least 18 to book a guest house and 25 to book a holiday home or apartment.
• If you're under 25, a £150 refundable security deposit is required.
• You'll receive a confirmation email—please check your details carefully.
3. Pricing & Payment
• Prices change based on demand.
The price at booking is final.
• Full payment is due at the time of booking and must be cleared at least 7 days before arrival.
• Extra fees apply for additional vehicles and pets (see Section 9).
4. Who Can Stay?
• You’re responsible for all guests in your booking.
• The number of guests must match your booking—extra guests may be asked to leave.
• If you book fewer rooms than are available, some may be locked.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
Your Right to Cancel
• Cancel within 24 hours of booking or at least 7 days before arrival for a full refund.
• Cancel within 7 days of arrival or no-show, and you’ll be charged the full amount.
Our Right to Cancel
We may cancel your booking if:
• Payment isn’t received on time.
• You break the rules (e.g., unauthorised guests, smoking, property damage).
• Force majeure events occur (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions).
We’ll offer an alternative stay or a full refund if we cancel for reasons beyond your control.
6. Check-in & Check-out
• Check-in: 3:00 PM (Notify us of your arrival time to activate the digital key lock).
• Check-out: 11:00 AM (Late check-out costs £10 per extra hour).
7. Keys & Access
• You’ll receive one set of keys or a digital access code.
• Lost keys: You’ll be charged for lock replacement.
• Lockouts: £50 charge for staff assistance.
• We may enter the property for maintenance, inspections, or emergencies.
8. No Smoking
• No smoking or vaping inside—a £150 violation fee applies.
9. Pets Policy
• Pets are only allowed at the holiday homes, but must be approved in advance.
• Pet fee: £20 per pet per booking (payable before arrival).
• Pets must not be left alone and can’t be on furniture or beds.
• Guests must clean up after their pets.
10. House Rules
✔ Keep the property clean and follow waste disposal rules.
✔ Report any damage or maintenance issues.
✖ No loud noise between 10 PM – 7 AM.
✖ No illegal, commercial, or disruptive activities.
✖ No unauthorised overnight guests.
✖ No hazardous materials or tampering with safety equipment.
✖ No candles, incense, or strong-smelling cooking.
11. Damages & Penalties
• You’re responsible for any damage or loss during your stay.
• Charges apply for excess cleaning, missing/damaged items, or misuse.
• We may:
o Cancel your stay without a refund.
o Restrict property access.
o Charge your card for damages.
12. Wi-Fi & Utilities
• Wi-Fi is provided but not guaranteed.
• We’re not responsible for internet issues or damage to your devices.
• Service interruptions (e.g., electricity, water) won’t result in refunds.
13. Privacy & Security
• A valid ID (passport, driver’s license, or national ID) is required to complete online check-in.
• We follow GDPR rules to protect your data.
14. Legal & Liability
• We’re not responsible for:
o Accidents, injuries, or theft during your stay.
o Lost or damaged personal belongings.
o Inconveniences from maintenance work or external disturbances.
• Any disputes will follow English law and UK courts.
